Luton Lane Farm

Luton Lane Farm, was the first Impact for Change provision. It is an emergency 28-90 day crisis provision. Using activities and attachment led practice to reduce the anxieties, fears and risks young people in crisis present with. It is registered for 2 young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health Difficulties and staffed 1:1 as a minimum.

Luton Lane Farm is located in a rural area near Cullompton, Devon. The home works closely with Haven Banks in Exeter to provide outdoor educational activities. The home used Thrive to support and develop young peoples emotional wellbeing.

Luton Lane Farm is currently rated a Good home by Osfted.

Holly Farm

Holly Farm is a longterm children’s home for children and young people with social, emotional, mental health difficulties. We use attachment led practice and Thrive to develop young people’s self esteem, emotional and behavioural development.

Holly Farm is based in a rural village near Langport, Somerset.

Holly Farm also has a self contained annex for young people who are developing their independence skills.

Holly Farm is staffed as a minimum  3 young people:2 staff members.

Holly Farm use lots of activities, including the outdoor facilities of Haven Banks to create the fun childhood experiences all young people deserve.

Templeton Cross Farm

Templeton Cross Farm, will be a longterm children’s home for 3 young people with social, emotional, mental health difficulties.

Templeton Cross Farm is located near Tiverton.

We are currently awaiting registration.

The Thrive Approach

The Thrive Approach draws on insights from neuroscience, child development, attachment theory and the arts to provide a powerful way of working with children and young people that supports optimal social and emotional development.

In addition, the Approach can equip us to work in a targeted way with children and young people who have struggled with difficult life events to help them re-engage with life and learning.

Impact for Change uses a Thrive consultant to visit the Home’s at least monthly to provide assessments, strategies, team support and guidance.
